Umeå University, which is registered in the University’s curriculum database as printed reference copy for library use only, and at least one additional copy in printed or electronic format. The University Library is one of seven libraries that carries all printed material, which is sent out for wider distribution in Sweden.

The University Library offers a range of group study and online collaboration spaces in each library for the purposes of group learning and participating in online collaborative learning. Across the spaces, a range of facilities and room sizes accommodating up to 10 students are available. To book a group study room/booth:

The rooms can be booked three weeks in advanced and you can book a maximum of 6 slots a day (one slot is 30 minutes). The group study rooms at the University Library and the Medical Library are available during the library opening hours.
